Dear cunting fuck
why does my mother have to come and see me this weekend? It's taking up valuable pissing-about-online-time to clean this place to her standards, as if work wasn't tiring enough.

Hai!

Evening Metallica
I solve the problem by living in a different country to my parents. That, and living in a far flung suburb of London.

200 miles is not quite far enough away.
And when you go to see yours, you indirectly pay my salary! Win!

And they also indirectly pay your salary when they see me
Double Win!

Plus travelling by train avoids using an atmosphere-shagging 'cheap-flight'. Triple win!
(, Mon 14 Sep 2009, 20:56, Reply)
And you get to travel very fast and not have to wear a seat belt!
Quadruple win!

Are we sisters?
We evidently have the same mum. Mine perches on my sofa like she's about to catch fleas.

Perhaps, knowing my mother she's dappy enough to not tell me something like that.
She always says she doesn't care about the state of the place when she visits, then the moment she comes in my front door "Ooo, isn't it messy in here?" Then I make this face.

my mum got a new job and she called me on her lunch to tell me about it
she said "I'm not supposed to tell you where I work, but you're not going to tell anyone" I said "Well if you're not supposed to tell, don't tell," to which she asked "Are you a spy? No."
Cripes, don't try to get her to keep a fucking secret.
(, Mon 14 Sep 2009, 21:11, Reply)
Why isn't she allowed to tell you where she works?

(, Mon 14 Sep 2009, 21:18, Reply)
I might be a SPY
*spy musics*
(, Mon 14 Sep 2009, 21:22, Reply)
Indeed you might.
Perhaps if I tell my mother I'm one, she'll stop telling me every minute detail of her life...

Incidentally, MSN appears to have shat itself and died.

what a cunt, doesn't it know it's supposed to shit itself after it dies?

You're not the only one
MSN is dead (And smelly) at my end too.

Bereft of life, it rests in peace. It's not fucked up this spectacularly since I was Abroad.

I remember MSN used to have a reputation for dropping messages
This drove me round the bend at times. Haven't used it for a while but am now on an MSN chatting spree. I suspect they sorted out the dropped messages in the end.

When I was in Lausanne it was epically unreliable.
Dropped messages constantly, you couldn't send unless you were appearing offline, everything. One evening Stalker Girl hadn't realised it was broken and tried to send me twenty messages along the lines of "WHAT THE FUCK HAVE I DONE STOP IGNORING ME YOU BITCH" before realising no one was talking to her... fortunately it had crapped out so spectacularly that I never got them.
(, Mon 14 Sep 2009, 21:51, Reply)
Stalker-types plus no notification of messages being dropped equals t3h argh!
