That's around600 quid. It includes anaesthesia, stitches, pain meds, blood work, antibiotics, a drain and the removal of the stitches. Also, I took him to the hospital out of hours (not one of those "wait until the vet opens in the morning" kind of wounds )
Maybe beckyletters could give some input on if that's reasonable for all that? Seems to be to me.

Next time it might be cheaper to fly beckyletters overand see if she'll do it 'on the side'...
