and Stealth is a little groggy, but is stitched up and I can pick him up in 4 hours :)
I do feel bad that I didn't see his injury when I looked, but the vet said because of the location of the wound and the length of the cats hair, it's easy to miss. Which makes me feel a little better.

I'm sending Pam from the Cats' Protection League out to you.
It might take her a while to get to the US of A on her Shopmobility scooter though.

I have a friend called Pam who is basically "cat lady".
When she finds out about Stealth, I'm gonna get a whole shitload of crap from her. And then she can buy me a beer as I just spent $1100 on the moggy!

If that happens to Tigger I'll just have to fix him with superglue and tell him scars are cool.

600 quid. It includes anaesthesia, stitches, pain meds, blood work, antibiotics, a drain and the removal of the stitches. Also, I took him to the hospital out of hours (not one of those "wait until the vet opens in the morning" kind of wounds )
Maybe beckyletters could give some input on if that's reasonable for all that? Seems to be to me.

He cost me around £550.00 to get his eye sorted. The vet ended up just whipping it out.
He's my big, fat fluffy one-eyed wonder and worth every penny.

I heart Stealth and Bomber. Bomber is wandering around trying to find her big brother, and then comes and sits on my lap purring away.
