Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Stealth is back home after his surgery yesterday - I had to take him back to the hospital after he pulled his drain tubes out, so they x-rayed him....they found a foreign object in his tummy, purely by chance and they did surgery to remove it.
Turns out he'd somehow managed to swallow a penny!

Anyway, I'm doing ribeye steak for dinner tonight. What are your plans?

Not much tonight
Finish work, go home, eat, go to pub job, drink booze on duty, annoy the customers with my jukebox choices and over-enthusiastic singing along.

Glad the lil moggy is on the mend. I have the mark of the puma on my foot after Tigger sliced me up.

Been a rough few days
with him, but he's settling down and is still wearing his latest (3rd) cone they put on him yesterday! The penny was totally random - I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

That sounds good!
It's too hot at the moment to do anything except bbq or salads, and they had a great deal on the ribeye. I'll be having that with a bbq'd potato, salad, crusty bread and garlic mushrooms with some melted brie on top of the steak!

I'm a fan of bbq cooking, if done correctly. i.e. not just sausages and burgers (although they have their place)

I do loads of stuff on the grill
Cornish game hens, fish, chicken, chops, steaks, asparagus, corn etc.
