Nails!I play some fingerstyle (Ooer mrs!) so the nails on my right hand are long and short on the left. I got some invaluable advice from an old flamenco player about strengthening nails a few years ago - don't buy nail strengtheners (there are several potions on the market), just wipe the nails you want conditioned on any greasy part of your face. The natural oils really make a difference to the strength and condition of your nails.

I'll tell the other guitarist in my band about thathe's always breaking nails. He plays like he's hitting it with a hammer most of the time.
