I normally have a load spare.....What with having lots of guitars lying about. I buy my acoustic strings in bulk - the D'Addario 25 set box is a bargain - but as I have a couple of unusual guitars* in the collection I have to keep some others in just in case.
I normally change full sets as the brightness of a new string in a 'mellowed out/played in' set tends to jar.
Any chance of a pic of the new purchase?
* The aforementioned double-neck, a 7-string (with an extra octave G) and a travel size which is Nashville strung. I know, I'm a geek.

Perhaps I should get the rest of them while I'm at it, then; Amazon will, after all, automatically recommend me a ton of guitar paraphernalia!
