Once while on the dole for a considerable period.I dropped a hot iron on my foot. I didn't go to the doctors because I didn't think it was that bad but it got a lot worse. I spent a couple of weeks lying on the bed in my dingy bedsit room staring at my foot going manky and poking it as it oozed.
