Hello gorgeous denizens of the internet
How have all of your weekends been?
Thursday night began interestingly, and ended on Friday with me going back to my block from a friend's room covered in blue paint, clutching a mainly empty bottle of absinthe. The rest was a gig, a few pints of cider and black and idle chit chat. And working on grammar at 2am.
Et tu, Brute?

Was it Greek grammar by any chance?
Sounds like a top weekend, you do know that absinthe maketh the heart grow fonder?!
We have also had a splendid weekend - BGB came to stay and we had a lully time; CoUNTry walk, a stroll along the beach and lashings of red wine :o)

No, it was Latin :)
Greek is very easy, we're not doing hard stuff at all. Latin is rigorous but fun ^_^ But the analysis was of an Ovid poem where he's grovelling; apparently we'll be doing obscene poetry by Augustus soon, CANNOT WAIT.

Ah, that sounds lovely :) Especially the wine. I came into the kitchen to find 7 empty bottles this morning. That WASN'T me.

I'm a bit lonely and miserable, but this weekend made up for it
There's nothing to eat, was going to make mashed potatoes but I really can't be bothered. I should. I know. But I'm scared of my masher, I didn't wash it for 2 weeks.

Now I'm really hungry *eats more raspberry yoghurt*

I want to meet some London b3tans now. But coming back up for MancBash, will be bundles of fun!

Aw :( the first few weeks can be a bit weird like that, especially when you're all partied out.
Pour boiling water over the masher, it's nature's cure-all. Then again if you're not sure. I always just used to eat when I was hungry, especially during exam/deadline times, which often meant ramen at 2am...

*eyes Petits Filous in the fridge* I may join you in a yogurt.

One day I'll make it to another London bash. One day...
