I keep finding things funny when they really aren't. Someone next to me lost their spoon and I asked her if she was sitting on it... for some reason this made me giggle like a friggin' idiot.
My question is... how are you feeling today?
Also who would win in a fight between a bear and a tiger shark?

So its not all bad!! :D
Have you been shouting lots recently then?

but I think the main cause was the cold I'm getting over and too much smoking.

even in water. Sharks have no bones only Cartilage so a bear could crush it easily.

...advantage mammals.

b) depends whether the fight is on land or in the sea
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:19, Reply)
b) what about on a beach in a small amount of water, enough for the shark to survive

Ditto self respect.
In your chosen environment BEAR WINS.

...am home looking after the domestic duties while chickenlady is off on a poetry course.
Hmmm... Depends... What if it's a Tiger Shark?

...she's in rural Shropshire, with no mobile phone or internet coverage. It's a full on seven day poetry course with some well known poets, apparently.
Either that or she's shacked up with a gigolo for a week and doesn't want to be disturbed.

Continue to think its a poetry course, the other option is surely too disturbing to consider!

work is going well. leaving the office at 4 today, out on site all day tomorrow. good times.
if it were in a medium where neither would be at a disadvantage then I'd give it to the bear. Bears are fucking hardcore. Don't mess with bears.
although, it does depend on what sort of bear.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:33, Reply)
massive brown bears, the ones that go all mental when they get their ears wet... that's a point actually, all the shark would need to do would be to lure the bear out into deep water, then it would be screwed!! Hmmmm.

I'm still getting over a nasty bout of Swan Flu / Man Flu / Swine AIDS. Just down to the dry cough and dodgy sinuses now.
Now then, if the fight were fought on land, I suspect the tiger shark could possibly survive long enough to leap out of a tree and squash the bear, perhaps with comedy sound effects.

I like your answer best actually... comedy bear squash FTW!

...I've had this, taken three weeks out of my life and I'm desperate to start exercising again.
I hope you're over it real soon. In the meantime keep up the scotch intake, works wonders.

I've kept up my beer intake, but I don't think it's been strong enough to kill off the little bastards lodged in my throat. May have to get the Scotch out...or, we did move into this new place a couple of weeks ago to find the previous tenants had left half a bottle of Krupnik behind...

And a borked heart
And Al Martino is DEAD.
But other than that, I'm chipper enough!
I am actually alarmingly chipper.
I'm wired all wrong me.

She was the best nemesis I ever had, but I thought she didn't care. So I walked away. And now I think she might have cared after all. But I guess I'll never know... *sniff*

You don't need to poke my eyes. They weep for you already.

why is it called a tiger shark? It isn't a cross between a tiger and a shark - false advertising I say
and a bear...easily

My massive pot of stew was delicious and will last another couple of meals. And I slept in my bed last night instead of on my couch for the first time in weeks and had a really really good nights sleep!
