I'm in a right old funny mood today
I keep finding things funny when they really aren't. Someone next to me lost their spoon and I asked her if she was sitting on it... for some reason this made me giggle like a friggin' idiot.

My question is... how are you feeling today?

Also who would win in a fight between a bear and a tiger shark?

Good, although I've lost my voice,

(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:15, Reply)
But not the ability to type
So its not all bad!! :D

Have you been shouting lots recently then?
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:16, Reply)
Yes I have been shouting a lot.,
but I think the main cause was the cold I'm getting over and too much smoking.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:17, Reply)
Ah
that'll also do the trick!
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:24, Reply)
Oh and a bear would win easily,
even in water. Sharks have no bones only Cartilage so a bear could crush it easily.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:25, Reply)
This is
what I'm thinking too
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:27, Reply)
Congratulations you are correct.

(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:28, Reply)
Bears and Tigers have both teeth AND claws...
...advantage mammals.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:29, Reply)
Woo!
I won my own compo, I get CAKE!!
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:40, Reply)
a) fucking terrible due to all night drugs'n'drink bender
b) depends whether the fight is on land or in the sea
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:19, Reply)
a) ouch, sounds hangover hurty
b) what about on a beach in a small amount of water, enough for the shark to survive
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:23, Reply)
I have no saliva.
Ditto self respect.

In your chosen environment BEAR WINS.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:36, Reply)
Not bad...
...am home looking after the domestic duties while chickenlady is off on a poetry course.

Hmmm... Depends... What if it's a Tiger Shark?
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:20, Reply)
A poetry course hey?
That's fancy! :)

Tiger sharks are awesome!!
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:25, Reply)
Yeah...
...she's in rural Shropshire, with no mobile phone or internet coverage. It's a full on seven day poetry course with some well known poets, apparently.

Either that or she's shacked up with a gigolo for a week and doesn't want to be disturbed.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:28, Reply)
Hahaha
Continue to think its a poetry course, the other option is surely too disturbing to consider!
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:41, Reply)
feeling pretty good
have been listening to country and it makes me happy *two steps*

I'd say tiger shark because in order for it to fight it'd have to be in water, whether it were a tank or the sea, it'd have more advantage over the bear
poor bear :(
I've been proven wrong by logics
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:30, Reply)
I'm in a pretty good mood
work is going well. leaving the office at 4 today, out on site all day tomorrow. good times.

if it were in a medium where neither would be at a disadvantage then I'd give it to the bear. Bears are fucking hardcore. Don't mess with bears.

although, it does depend on what sort of bear.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:33, Reply)
It'd be one of those
massive brown bears, the ones that go all mental when they get their ears wet... that's a point actually, all the shark would need to do would be to lure the bear out into deep water, then it would be screwed!! Hmmmm.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:43, Reply)
Pretty rough
I'm still getting over a nasty bout of Swan Flu / Man Flu / Swine AIDS. Just down to the dry cough and dodgy sinuses now.

Now then, if the fight were fought on land, I suspect the tiger shark could possibly survive long enough to leap out of a tree and squash the bear, perhaps with comedy sound effects.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:34, Reply)
Aww I hope you feel better soon!!
I like your answer best actually... comedy bear squash FTW!
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:44, Reply)
Get better soon...
...I've had this, taken three weeks out of my life and I'm desperate to start exercising again.

I hope you're over it real soon. In the meantime keep up the scotch intake, works wonders.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:06, Reply)
Now that's a good idea
I've kept up my beer intake, but I don't think it's been strong enough to kill off the little bastards lodged in my throat. May have to get the Scotch out...or, we did move into this new place a couple of weeks ago to find the previous tenants had left half a bottle of Krupnik behind...

I have the lurgy
And a borked heart

And Al Martino is DEAD.
But other than that, I'm chipper enough!
I am actually alarmingly chipper.
I'm wired all wrong me.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:56, Reply)
You have a borked heart
what has happened?
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 13:57, Reply)
Well I had this nemesis
She was the best nemesis I ever had, but I thought she didn't care. So I walked away. And now I think she might have cared after all. But I guess I'll never know... *sniff*
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:01, Reply)
Hahaha
Aww she cared!! Lookit...

*pokes Roota in the eye*
*runs*
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:23, Reply)
How could you!
You don't need to poke my eyes. They weep for you already.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:28, Reply)
But you don't need to weep anymore
I'M BACK!! :D
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:31, Reply)
I hope you're not toying with me...
But YAY! :D
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:34, Reply)
Haha
I would never do such a thing!!

*dances*
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:34, Reply)
Aw Flimsit
You're the best nemesis evah.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:38, Reply)
the big question is
why is it called a tiger shark? It isn't a cross between a tiger and a shark - false advertising I say

and a bear...easily
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:14, Reply)
Who knows
The same applies for the catfish...
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:25, Reply)
tiger sharks
are a bit stripy

(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:36, Reply)
so are zebras
why not call it a zebra shark?
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:39, Reply)
you might as well ask why not call it an Aquafresh shark
why not call zebras tigers?

in fact, I'm going start calling them tiger horses
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:40, Reply)
aquafresh

So's my granddad, but I wouldn't say he looks like a cat! Hehe
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:52, Reply)
He does
He's a hep cat.
(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 14:55, Reply)
How 'bout a bear holding a shark?

(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 16:36, Reply)
That
is truly magnificent...

(, Wed 14 Oct 2009, 16:59, Reply)
I'm in a good mood again.
My massive pot of stew was delicious and will last another couple of meals. And I slept in my bed last night instead of on my couch for the first time in weeks and had a really really good nights sleep!
