Medical superglue is not the same as normal supergluebut there are glues around that you can use safely. However she could be alergic to anything in them so not a great idea.

Ordinary superglue works fineIt can irritate skin, but only for brief periods, and I often use it for self-repair after I've been clumsy with sharp things and accidentally sliced bits of myself open.
