In answer to your CV question,
some advice says that it should be written in the third person. It's not "the usual" but it is quite common.

Told me to change my CV into third person but I thought it sounded a little wanky/like I had mental problems so didn't do it... got a job without changing it so my CV can't be that bad!

I must have perused over a thousand CVs in the past year and if I'd have seen one in the third person I would have suspected a personality disorder for sure.

Legendary surf guitarist Dick Dale does this :'Dick Dale does not do that' etc. Despite being a pioneering genius it gives the distinct impression that he is fucking Radio Rental.
