Yes you did :) especially as my knowledge of Voltaire is minimal and I had to google it!
Am not fond of Zola, either. Or Maupassant.

Same old same old really - busy again at work and quite broke, still :( and trying to pretend Christmas is not upon us...

haaaaaa! you cheated and used google!
i win?
what do i win?
yeah, Zola is a bit shit, never made up my mind about Maup.
what about Flaubert?
(wanker)
advice? if you smoke then stop.
if you drink then stop.
if you have ANY FUN AT ALL then stop.
and your wealth will balloon in an instant.
and stop buying (sexy) boots!
you don't need 'em.

I had to - the only thing I use my French for these days is things to do with trains.
Nah, I'm not fond of Flaubert either; I did a whole module on all of the writers we've mentioned and nearly lost the will to live (Stalker Girl being on that course didn't help much either). The worst French-language book ever, though is Le voyage en France by BenoƮt Duteurtre and if there is any justice in the world it will be unknown outside Switzerland!

You're right I don't need sexy boots :( one pair is quite enough given I next to never wear them! I don't drink much and I only smoke when very, very, very stressed. It's the shopping that will ruin me...
