My main employerIs making a lot of people redundant at the moment. A frightening number of people, and the awful truth is that as a manager, I am the conduit through which the redundancy process passes.
The average application/acceptance ratio at the moment for vacancies is, I believe, about 90/1.
You're in a scary place and you have my empathy.

I think 90/1 is the national average.What has made this recession so hard hitting is that all sectors of employment have taken a beating.
