Home Sweet Home

We were supposed to be moving house today.
Except we aren't.
It has been re-scheduled for next weekend.
GRRRRRRRRR!

Morning
I'm in the office this morning. Overtime baby! In retrospect I should have stayed in bed.

I have just dropped wee Blaireau off at her friends house...
And I'm now proceeding to site for another hard day of graft. It is PISSINGDOWN in a biblical fashion an steve wright is on the radio. In retrospect I also should have stayed in bed!
Today my task is to sand and second coat 130 metres of skirting and architrave. Oh boy, I can barely contain myself. If I'm not carefull I may just shit myself with excitement ;-)

on a lighter note the pork chops with honey, rosemary, garlic and cider are on a super-slow heat and will be utterly nom-tastic by the time I get home. The layer of thinlysliced potato on the top will be sauce-moppingly fantastic I reckon...
Do you have dinner plans?

I read that as "shit myself with excrement"
And wondered what else you could use.
Typically I would have a pub lunch on a Sunday and a snack in the evening, but since I'm here I've got sandwiches. :-(

Might treat myself to a curry this evening to compensate.

Anybody who works Sunday deserves a curry. With extra popadoms.
I worked til about half nine last night, giving the sandstone floor in the kitchen a final clean and sealing it. I have to say that all the hard work and expense (the sealer I opted for is £143 for 5litres) has proven worthwhile. I wasn't looking forward to working today, on account of doing about a million hours this week, however as soon as I put on the lights my heart lifted. The floor looks AMAZING!
I can't help feeling a bit smug ;-)

Ha Ha Ha
I work every Sunday - and this is the first time in six months or so that I've had a bit of time to muck about.

Do I fancy a curry tonight though? Not sure I do.

Nice to see that you and Gronz have been pestering innocent waitresses again.

I know I want a curry.
I had the tastiest chili EVAR last night and forgot to ask my friend for the recipe, so I'll be pestering her for it tomorrow morning.

It was just me this time...
And I'm not sure it would count as pestering, she actually seems to like me...
She actually smiled her truley lovely smile when she saw me walk through the door. Either that or she had wind...

Could you pass this on to I_Was_Mordred please?
It's basically a cunt petition.

It's funnier when he explodes in public.

But that's not really inkeeping with the spirit of HSH.
Not quite fluffy enough and too few kittens.

Sorry.

I like the furrowed-brow thingy you did.
But we still cannot sanction that kind of behaviour here!
*wags finger sternly*

I think you mean
"a petition by a load of cunts". Nearer to the mark, I think.
(, Sun 1 Nov 2009, 18:20, Reply)
Having investigated that there thread I agree with you.
But I was trying not to sully HSH with the word Cunt.
Ah well ;-)

Holy shit
The opening of tonight's X-factor may be the cheesiest thing I've ever seen...
(, Sun 1 Nov 2009, 20:06, Reply)
The X-factor has no place in HSH.
IS THAT CLEAR?
