Surely it should be related to height and build too?I'm not heavily built, about 5'11" tall and have a 32" waist. But I have a friend who's a good 4 inches taller than me, and is built like a brick shithouse. He's not fat, but he must weigh about a third again as much as I do. And I'll bet his waist size is more than 33.5".
