It's the thin edge of the wedge I tell ya.

it's a lifestyle choice
no one is being forced into it
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 19:57, Reply)
No they're not and I agree that they deserve each other but it's still wrong.

(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 19:59, Reply)
would it be wrong if, for example, it was a christian only dating site?

(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:00, Reply)
That's not the same thing.
You can choose to be a Christian but you don't choose how you look.
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:02, Reply)
you can, if you want to put the work in
the majority of people could be considered 'beautiful'
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:04, Reply)
You mean plastic surgery?

(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:05, Reply)
no, i don't

Go to /links and read the article.
You'll see what I mean.

Not only do you have to be beautiful, you have to hope that the people on the site already think that your beautiful enough to join them.
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:09, Reply)
so?
would it be less offensive to you if they stipulated conditions that you felt you could meet?
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:10, Reply)
I would accept dating sites for rich people or people who only like the colour red because this is something you yourself are in charge off.
To only take people because of a a genetic quirk of fate is bad.

Edit - and in answer to your question, no. I'm not pissed off about this because I can't join.
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:14, Reply)
i wasn't trying to imply that
just wondering exactly where you'd draw the line
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:17, Reply)
If something is in your power to change about yourself then that's ok.

(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:22, Reply)
what about stupid people?
genuinely wondering here, are they just lazy or are some people just not very intelligent however they might try to be?
(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:26, Reply)
Well that's never going to happen so it's not worth debating.

(, Thu 12 Nov 2009, 20:29, Reply)
ha
uh, ok
