What a busy few days I've had.
Yesterday afternoon we got a new multi-function fax machine, or as I like to call it......THE BEAST.

So unwrapping it and getting it to function quite wore me out.

Today I've been making an appliqué cushion for a guy at work who's made a little stool for his niece's daughter.

Tomorrow I go to a birthday party. Woo!

I think the term Rock and Roll lifestyle may apply here.

We have a similar beast in my office.
I could, if I so wished, email things supposedly from the CEO to people; it allows me to select a From address.

Today I've done absolutely nothing
I ventured to the shop this morning for the newspaper and a bottle of wine.
It's been total bliss. I watched Fanny By Gaslight (no I really did) on FilmFour.

I don't want to go outside. I'd really like to stay in the house and drink myself to sleep. It's so warm and cosy. I'm supposed to be going out. The same people will be out tomorrow too. Permission to postpone?

Granted.
Fanny By Gaslight has James Mason in it, amirite?

I watched this.
Anyone called Fanny is OK by me.

Aye, and the lovely Stewart Granger *sigh*
And yeah BGB, you can't help but chuckle. There's a reason why I watched it. All my life, whenever somebody's asked my nana her middle name, she's said "Frances. Hmmm... Fanny by Gaslight!" then laughed uncontrollably. When I saw it on today I just had to watch it and phone her afterwards.

Did you watch Small Time Crooks before it?
Worthy.
(, Sat 21 Nov 2009, 20:48, Reply)
Verily I did not :(

I always thought mimsy by moonlight would be better than fanny by gaslight.
And small time crooks is ace.

The only good film made with that floppy-haired twat in it.

Edit - Just remembered the only other good film with the floppy haired twat. The one made by that nutter of a British director with a big snake.I'm a bit squiffy so can't remember.

Edit 2 - Ken Russell and the Lair of the white worm.

Mimsy by Moonlight is genius
I shall tell Nana that tomorrow. She's too drunk right now. If I call her now she'll play Gigli down the phone again. My phone's off the hook because i'm not up for that.

I find James Mason's voice hilarious
because I am a huge Izzard fan. I just imagine him saying "Jeezy Chreezy!"
