People who live in cities and workshouldn't have them, I think. Bravo to you for considering the quality of life your dog might have over your own enjoyment.
I saw a dead cat in the exact same place as I saw one about a year ago this morning, just by my flat. Very distressing. I don't feel so bad about my big fat cat not ever leaving my flat today. He was given every chance to as a kitten, he's just a lazy chickenshit. But he's very much alive for it.

What Monty said.I'd love to have a dog again, but its just not practical. Me and the missus aren't in all day and it would be horrible on the poor thing. Dogs are too social to be left alone like that. They'd go mental.
