Personally I think its bollocks.
There's more caffeine in a strong coffee and I drink a lot more than 2 cups a day.
I regularly buy two 1lr bottles of Kick from Tesco and drink them in a day. and I don't die. There's really not that much in them. In America some of the drinks have more than 4 times the caffeine than a Red Bull.

But the sugar and the taurine and the caffeine together?
I don't think it's good.

I don't know for sure
but I've heard that the problem isn't the caffeine so much as the other stimulants they put into it.
EDIT: What Roota said
EDIT-upon-EDIT: Apparently this taurine stuff is a component of bile. (Don't think we really need to pour more of that into most b3tans.) "...involved in a number of physiological processes. However, the role of taurine in these processes is not clearly understood and the influence of high taurine doses on these processes is uncertain."[1]

There's no proof taurine does anything
and I drink the diet stuff cos I can't stand sugar sweetness.

Yes, I probably should have let you reply before crowbarring in my second edit

Well it mightn't do anything to you, sunshine
But it fucks me up.
I only had one can a few months agao, and I started dancing in my mother's living room, laughed and started filming on my phone when Grandpa fell over (instead of helping him up), and did the WHOLE of 'Stay' by Shakespears Sister with my uncle, all the operatic bits and the violence. I had a big red face and a racing heart, and my Grandpa told me to get out and never take 'that stuff' ever again.

Maybe they should market it as a drug
I want a Shakespears Sister Stay experience!

I couldn't sing it now if you asked me
But if I'm rotten or on Red Bull, well I could go on Stars in their Fucking Eyes.

My poor family.
Sometimes I think they encourage it though.
Love you more. Missing you already.

Let's elope
to black-out land, where we can live happily ever after.

No, because my constant effervescence and scouse accent
would eventually get me a punch-in-face from you

Can I come?
After my experience a couple of weeks ago at the Manchester bash, I think I'm qualified as a fully paid up member.

Oh my god yes
Then me and you can totally spend the next day in a hotel room shivering and reading the papers with our coats on!!
