I once (actually twice)went to a rave in Basingstoke. In a mental hospital. A still very much in use mental hospital with patients wandering around in their dressing gowns, mingling with the ravers. I've mentioned this before but it's a good example of strange goings on in Basingstoke. An almost-total shithole of a town.
