If you buy it new this is a good tip to help you haggleWhen the slimy salesman stop offering money all is not lost, he will probably offer you an extended warranty.
You don't want this; however the salesman will get commission on selling it. Therefore you say, "Well if I take the warranty will you give me an extra £50 off?"
He'll say yes and you do the deal.
Your statutory rights allow you to cancel any extended warranties within 2 weeks of purchase, so you simply go home, cancel the warranty and spend the £50 you saved on crack whores, everyone's a winner...except the salesman who won't get his commission :p
