What's the point in getting new glasses in January? January is dismal.

got red wine, a full "buzz box" and radio 6 is playing almost-lost Brazilian genius Rodriguez - I'm just in from the cold, just thawing out and things look OK suddenly.

Also go some ad-hoc work tomorrow - translating French legal documents for my dealer. I'm asking no questions and judging no-one.. something to do, anyway.

I'm ripping some new CDs that a friend burned for me and realising exactly how eclectic my musical taste is. And yes, it is fucking freezing today! I think I may have to concede that yes, it is finally too cold for my silk corset coat.

Glasses are awesome
if you find ones that you like. They make you see properly and can look cool.

I like acetates. The pair I'm currently wearing cost £20 including delivery off t'internet and they're fucking cool.

I'm slowly warming back to the idea
and there are some red ones that are pretty tempting for the days I can't be arsed to stick plastic in my eyes. Thing is I'm so used to contacts now that I'm no longer accustomed to the weight on my nose...
