Very cold! For some reason the heating in my flat is shit.
I am very content, having spent yesterday shopping like a loon in France and am now a little tiny bit broke.

Then again Christmas is upon us so they may have some kind of "give the gift of sight" sale thing on. I have to be coerced practically at gunpoint into wearing my glasses, I hate them! Contacts FTW.

get lots of awesome birthday stuff??
contacts are too much work for me, and I like stylish glasses, plus I have this thing about eyes, the thought of touching it let alone putting something in it?! yuck !

I'm squeamish about anything to do with eyes that isn't my own.
Have freaked out many people with how willingly I will poke little bits of plastic into my eyes...

I did :D new pair of shoes, Underworld trilogy on blu-ray, pretty star fairy lights that are now on top of my TV, a black satin skirt, thin black top that I have since discovered is too transparent for work, and a thick bronze hoody. A successful haul!

I'm being bullied into buying new clothes so next week after rent is paid I'll be shopping
*sigh* I just don't like a lot of the stuff out now, I'm sooo picky :(

Me neither - I need, ideally, a new smart thing for the interview on Tues
since I wear my suit trousers to work all the time now To Be Taken Seriously (used to go in in whatever was decent and clean). I think a new, fabulous suit may be in order...

I'm finding this is the case with the new roommates, I work in a garage so I like to wear comfy clothes that can get dirty
and I may dress up once or twice every few weeks
apparently this isn't good enough for them, they haven't said so but I'm feeling the need to toss some stuff.

Bah, you shouldn't let them make you feel bad.
My clothes rarely match (matching underwear is an achievement these days) - if it's clean I wear it together for work, till I was told I was being seriously considered for this promotion...

I never have matching bra and underwear.
I can pull it off with some things but don't do it often.
Cripes I just realised how long it's been since wearing fancy pants.
I've become some sort of comfort only soccer mom. *cries*

It's okay... you have La Senza out there, amirite?
I'm usually pretty good about getting mine to match but I've moved bedrooms again lately and am still trying to marry all my socks etc back up...

apparently, I've never heard of them tho
I've just done the same, I've got a drawer full of frilly knickers, garters and stockings tho that never get used so I don't really need to buy more.

gawd matching socks is such a pain

My mother made me wear white cotton non-wired EVERYTHING till I was 16 or so.
Wearing balcony bras and frilly things is my way of rebelling now I'm old enough to buy my own underwear, and I now feel weird if I wear anything less... good if you do happen to get some sexehtiem though!

SO TRUE
my parents were like fucking mormons, wouldn't let me shave my legs until I was...golly...way old, sad times

Thanks Mal, I think I shall start a frilly knicker revolution and wear them more often

^ This! Glad to be of service :)
I may wear suspenders to my interview... no reason, just to give me the confidence to metaphysically shake them by the throat and say GIVE ME THIS JOB NOW.

My mother wouldn't let me shave my legs till I was 13 and still goes on at me now for plucking my eyebrows now I'm 24.
