Argue about films instead of music for a change
I'm wondering what to watch tonight since there's f-all on TV that I haven't seen already.

Wot I have downloaded:
- Star Trek (the new one - supposed to transcend the traditional star trek geekiness and be quite amusing))
- Looking for Eric (the year's must-see if reviews are to be believed)
- The Anvil story (bound to be a bit funny, although I despise hair metal, even in a comedy/ironic context)
- 40 year old virgin (some people say I must watch it, some people say it's utter garbage, some say it's a bit weak but tolerable.. everone has an opinion..hmmm)
- Punch drunk love (obscure indie I saw bigged up somewhere - no idea about it really)
- Baisees volees (old French B&W directed by the almighty Truffaut)

Actually I might just go to the pub but I'm feeling bored enough to post about my films. I'll get around to watching one soon I'm sure.

Review
first I was like WTF, then I was like, "oh that's clever, I'm getting into this," then it started freaking me out something chronic to the point I thought it might be a horror film, then it came together nicely in the end. not sure what to think of it really. something different at least. maybe if I hadn't watched it when fantastically stoned.. but glad I saw it.

fancied the pants off the English actress. hell yeah.

Big Fish

Right here's the plan
Get boots and coat on, get out the house for the first time today, sink a pint or maybe two if I get chatting to anyone, come back and watch Becky's vote if I'm feeling sensitive or Vipros' vote if I just want some comedy. Awesome. Cheers guys!

Gonz, as with about a third of what you say, I have no idea what you are talking about, but "big fish" is probably a gangster flick, right?

Big Fish
is a Tim Burton flick with Ewan McGregor grinning for Scotland as per usual - it's kind of a fairy tale - enjoyable enough.
