Yes.Try it next time you're ill, or sad.
Don't have it boiling hot or it will lose all fizz, have it hotter than warm, and it will still be tingly.

You can yeahI often do it in a milk pan because that's how my mum did it in the olden days when we had no microwave.

Cigarettes used to help my colds when I smoked.My grandad agrees. Says they keep the germs out of your lungs.
