Speaking as someone who recently joined..B3ta is confusing as all hell. It's not organised like anywhere else on the intertubes and it's so tight knit and buried in in-jokery and the like that's pretty difficult to fathom, even if you've reading QoTW for aaagggeeess.
Still, it seems like a decent enough place once you wrap your brain around it. It was the constant talk of griddle pans that attracted me.
