Once again, I'm stuck in London this evening. Eurostar has resumed their services, but have been clearing the backlog of stranded passengers from the weekend. Have spent the day playing Unreal Tournament 3.

how long have you been stuck?
we you on one of those trains?

Thankfully, I was not stuck in the Tunnel. I was meant to leave on Monday, but should hopefully be leaving tomorrow. Thankfully, they'll let me use my ticket on Wednesday. Have just been spending the past 2 days sleeping and playing UT3 and browsing t3h Intertubez. My supply of clean underwear is holding out, but am running out of food here. My parents have a cat, but he doesn't use any ink.

Still, good that they're going to accept your ticket on wednesday.
Prepare yourself as I'm about to ask the most frequently asked question ever:
Are you ready for christmas?

I'm ready to avoid it. I seem to be pretty good at avoiding Xmas, but will still be having Xmas dinner with the parents.

And a happy christmas to you as this will probably be the last chance for me to say it before the over-rated day.

Same to you. Thanks to the Channel Tunnel chaos, the time when I slip into Winter Hibernation Mode has been delayed by yet another day.

With a bathroom in my living room - just delivered today, it's the stuff for the en-suite which Jules is fitting for me in January.

I don't sign cookery.
Xmas dinner at my sister's, as usual.
Chris (her partner) takes charge of everything. He's a seriously good cook.
Looking forward to it this year, for once.

Where they live is about the same sort of climate as here. Fortunately, they have central heating that they have full control of.
