feelin' yer pain!
end up sittin' alone at the laptop, drink at the side there, bbc3 countdown of shit celebs on the tv...

except i made a pie from the leftovers! so i'm fucking sorted, mate!
i buttered and then lined a big oval pyrex dish with bought shortcrust pastry (had to roll it out a bit too thin in places cos it's a big dish and square to oval is a bugger) then fired in all the leftover meat off the goose, duck and turkey, along with all the carcass-pickings (carefully de-gristled and de-fatted), slow-cooked carrot and parsnip were cut small and scattered over the meats along with petit-pois before the halved chipolatas and stuffing balls.
bathed the whole fucking lot in utterly amazing gravy (a whole other story) and bobbed in about 8 or 10 lumps of homemade cranberry (and port) sauce before whacking on the top, crimping it strongly to the base with somewhat mangled (yet favourite) 160yo 5-tine silver dinner fork.
i could only find a cat-shaped cutter cos weeblaireau (3yrs2wks) has lost the others, so it is now known as cat pie. forked it half a dozen times for to let out the steam then an egg glaze to finish.
200C fan oven 50 minutes.
it fed 6 and 4 portions left!

fooooooooood!
i'll try and upload some pics.
i've saved the last piece for my mate Angus.
