*envies*I was in Edinburgh for 1999/ 2000. I have a vague memory of lights in the sky. I'm told they were fireworks.
Oh, and dancing with a policeman in the street, wearing my "Fuck the Millennium" t-shirt.
Pint of gin: bad idea. Even with a little bit of tonic to dilute it.
