But throughout the first series (I haven't seen the second) I consistently cracked up, and some of the musical parodies were outstanding. The Bowie episode had me practically in tears.

don't watch the second series
first series was a tv show written around amusing songs. second series is made up of unamusing songs written for a tv show

Ignore him
The only difference is the element of surprise has gone. It is well worth 3 hours of your time and much better than most shite TV.
