Alright

I love hummus, b ut I'm bored of spending money on it so i decided to make my own. Unfortunately i tried to do this with tinned chick peas, the resulting mush seriously tasted of chunder.

I think I'll try proper dried chick peas next time...

I had some sesame seeds to crush and to put in, but it was soo rank

I didn't think it was redeemable so I didn't bother.

i think I should have drained the watery crap the peas were in first.

wash them in cold water
and then dry them too in a clean tea towel. This will result in less sloppyness.

You could do the chilli thing, but I rather like the corriander and lemon juice variant.
