I'm the samePhotos - scan them all in, stick them on CD, fashdrives or better still upload them to Skydrive
Books - charity shop
Uni books - check if your local Uni will have them. Saves some other student having to waste a hefty chunk of his cash on textbooks. and then join a library and use it.
Clothes - charity shop
CDs - Rip them to hard-drive and eBay them as a job lot
Be ruthless with the rest. Pretend that stuff got nicked and ask yourself if you'd really miss it.
