Actuallythe Astra is a rather good little car.
Not in the A3 league, I'll admit, but nice to drive, decently finished, and (as I discovered from driving my gf's one in the last few weeks) excellent on snowy roads.

I haven't driven a new Astra I must admitbut every other vauxhall I've driven has been fucking awful in every way
