the amazon reviews of The Magicians are interestingsome really like it, some not at all.
I can imagine it'd be good, but also that it might really annoy me.

I found it one of the best books I've read in a long time.How magic is not just a flick of the wand, it takes months of practice per spell, just to do the most basic of things.
