If anyone likes History at all i would recommend Giles MiltonNathaniel's Nutmeg: How One Man's Courage Changed the Course of History - is brilliant, really makes you appreciate what people wnet through to get things done in times gone past, in this case just for nutmeg, which was at the time more expensive than gold!

I do. On a similar tip have you ever read that bookabout the history of salt? I have it but have yet to read it.
