it's because most bands are shitand it's not worth buying their other albums. Pearl Jam's have done some great stuff (Binaural is amazingly good) and some that's not so good. Most of Yield for example.
Generally, if I really like a band I'll get everything they've done.

I need to get some free time to write upan answer to this weeks QOTW. It's a true heart-stirring epic that features the last track off the awesome Binaural album.
