I am annoyed that I stuck with watching The International a week ago - it was a crap film and there was too much talking, not enough shooting... I expected more from Clive Owen.

Leonardo DiCaprio's fingers get broken with a hammer at one point.

he also gets savaged by a couple of dogs, slashed with knives and beaten up
there is a good bit where he is being seen to by a doctor pulling bits of stuff out of him with tweezers
L DiC: "What's that?"
Doctor: "Bone fragments. don't worry, they're not yours"

I will get this film, I'm in the mood for mindless violence movies at the moment. I think I need some sort of marathon of madness... Cliffhanger may need to be watched! :)

gritty and realistic, but also, nicely violent
I watched Surrogates the other night too. that was entertaining. the internet does not agree though.

I heard bad things but I tend to like shit movies everyone else hates so I figure I'll probably like it a lot! :D

where that it was unoriginal and stuff. it's well made, it's got bruce willis in it, it's quite short. what more could you want?

I'm great thanks missus, really good :)
Had a nice relax on Saturday after the Friday carnage. I've really gone off going out, ha.

Sometimes going out is bad, you throw money away and wake up with a hurty brain... where are the perks I ask you! :D
Still, I'm sure you had an amazing night out!

That shootout was added afterwards. Apparently the execs watched the film and said "Nothing happens?!", so they stuck in the shootout at the gugenheim.
For once the execs got it right.

I wouldn't mind but there was a picture of Clive Owen on the box with A GUN IN HIS RUDDY HAND! Bums. If that shootout wasn't added I would have cried. Its sort of like The Sum of All Fears... talky talky talky, oh a bomb might go off, shouty, talky, talky, gurning Ben Affleck, talky, talky, talky, quick find the bomb, talky, talky, got it, lets have a pic-nic, THE END
(, Mon 1 Feb 2010, 15:09, Reply)
reminds me of "Mirrors Edge" (a game on my XBox 360).
That was a very good description of "Sum of all fears", a film so dull that I keep forgetting that I have seen it. I have watched the first 20mins a number of times before it sinks in.

I like the style of it, its very different... but I couldn't get on with all the jumping and missing things to climb. DiT enjoyed it though!
