I woke up today convinced something good was going to happen today
But I lost my bus pass on the way to work and when I got there I found the program I'd set running over the weekend fell over at 4 o'clock Saturday morning. I figure the universe has left it a bit late in the day to try and make up for it. Maybe tomorrow.

I had a conversation with a Welsh trucker about the morality of shooting people dead in your own house. He was generally in favour and seemed to find the subject immensely amusing. I didn't dare disagree - I just asked oblique questions and grinned a lot while he mentalized.

I have been very confused about the media making out society is demanding a change in the law here. In recent years the only two cases that the newspeople have said shouldn't have gone to court are Tony Martin, who shot a teenager in the back, and whatshisname, who got help from his mate and used three different weapons to give a guy brain damage. Is it really so outrageous that these two went to court?

Personally, I think anyone stupid enough to let themselves get burgled should be sent to jail.
Anyway, they probably just organised it themselves so they could scam the state out of compensation money.

He just seemed aggro, kept going on about electrocuting people who touched his gate and fucking up someone last Friday after they asked him if he was Welsh. I'm not sure he had much of a grip on politics. He was just scary.
