I didn't actually embarrass myself
But I'd just been to get myself a cup of coffee and a banana, and on the way back to my office I held the door for some serious-looking chap. As the banana hand was holding the door, I considered how much fun it would be to threaten him with the banana.

Fortunately I did not follow through (with the plan, nor as a Viz-reader would understand the term).
