So yeah, I totally just fell down the stairs in front of the entire lecture theatre. Sometimes I'm just so damn cool it actually hurts.
On the plus side, it was a nice conversation starter with a rather attractive guy I've been checking out for a while, when he came over to ask if I was ok.
He's got dreadlocks. :D
How have you embarrassed yourself recently?

Normally, I would be the first to take the piss, but he somehow manages to pull it off pretty well.

They fucking stank.

I watched The Orphanage the other night with the mrs.
I cried.
I lost man-points.
It wasn't that embarassing though, it has a very sad ending.

was the first I'd seen in a long time that scared me to the point of feeling ill. The last film that did that to me was Poltergeist (I was quite young at the time, in my defence).
A brilliant film though, I agree.

Though I too was about twelve at the time.
And the Orphanage is awesome.
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 11:38, Reply)
I was the same, only the other film was Poltergeist 2 - I still can't watch it on my own :0(

Stepped in front of someone to get something off a shelf and said 'Excuse me, sir' because I was brought up to be polite. Daughter poked me in the back and pointed at 'sir' who was an old lady in a grey bobble hat. The three of us almost collapsed in giggles at the disgruntled look on her face.

Receding hairline but dreadlocks down to his arse. It just looked a mess.

Says it all really.

I've more than made up for it with totally sensible behaviour this week.

In gigs, he windmills it.
According the the info, he's doing it here, but I can't check. Stupid filtering.

"I don't have a job but I play guitar in a band" works everytime.
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 11:33, Reply)
I play guitar in two bands. Can that make up for having a job?
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 11:48, Reply)
playing guitar has never furthered my cause with a woman ever.
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 12:22, Reply)
I play bass guitar in one band, which makes me MANLY, and acoustic guitar in another, which probably makes me SENSITIVE or somesuch other shit.
Form an orderly queue. How can any of you resist?

I was exiting the office behind someone, when I had to turn round quickly to make one final point.
I then turned round and walked full force into the door which was halfway closed, making a rather loud noise as I did so.
Looked a right prat, but was pretty funny.

But I'd just been to get myself a cup of coffee and a banana, and on the way back to my office I held the door for some serious-looking chap. As the banana hand was holding the door, I considered how much fun it would be to threaten him with the banana.
Fortunately I did not follow through (with the plan, nor as a Viz-reader would understand the term).
(, Thu 4 Feb 2010, 11:25, Reply)
Or I could 'follow through,' if that's what you really want...

(I don't think my colleagues particularly want to be bummed at this time of the day)
