Good lord, we're expecting 20-28 inches of snow.
Other than food, booze, milk and duvets, what would you stock up on?
Bananas? Condoms? Chili lube?
My list includes sugar and condensed milk to make snow cream.

You know when it snowed in January we had up to 2cm
so I sensibly rushed out to buy 26 loaves of bread and 108 pints of milk but when I got there I couldn't get any because they all sold out because of idiots panic buying.

I don't eat bread or drink milk, so I'm really not worried in that department but OMG WHAT IF THEY RUN OUT OF OATMEAL?!!?!

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 13:57, Reply)
I'm 28 years of age
and still have no idea what oatmeal is.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:00, Reply)
porridge?

What? Where? When?
Whiskey
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 13:47, Reply)
I'm pretty sure whiskey is a type of booze.
So is whisky.

That's what the police told me...
...when I was pulled over.

And pleading ignorance gets you nowhere.

Splitters.

Booze of the Gods, though.
I would use it for offerings to Fish, the God of Weather.

Bile and venom.
Imagine running out of either of those two internet essentials?

I for one would be entirely lost.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 13:48, Reply)
Replace them with marijuana and fine cheeses.

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 13:51, Reply)
So download some.
Got plenty on offer at QOTW.

Rage
You forgot the Rage. Both of those are useless without a dose of Rage.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 13:53, Reply)
I may be on the internet some of the time, it will likely be to watch Jersey Shore *fist pumps*

Get an inflatable sno-boggan.
Walmart $24.99 in 2005.

Brilliant for dangerous fun.

* I know it is booze but - if you are going out might I recommend 'dark and stormy' which I associate with snow games

3oz dark rum
3oz ginger beer
ice, wedge of lime

It is warming, makes falling off hurt less, and gets you drunk. Tadah!
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 13:57, Reply)
February is teetotal month, except for possibly the 20th

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:03, Reply)
In that case replace the rum with whiskey.

(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 14:14, Reply)
Amazing the difference a few miles makes.
We're going to get a total of maybe eight inches.

There's still panic in the streets here, though.
(, Fri 5 Feb 2010, 15:09, Reply)
everyone I know has stocked up early, the rumour was 36", plus with it being super bowl weekend [puke] everyones going all out I think
