Trashy romance novels blog
I've never been a fan of them, but one of my college flatmates would devour them at a rate of knots and then deliver her critique on them. I found this blog on another site and found it perturbing that someone would spend so much time reading romance novels, just to slag them off, yet utterly compelling.

My so called wife
reads them at a rate of about 5 per week. I have a theory that they are the same story with the main characters name and title/job changed. Oh and they always end up having unprotected sex and getting pregnant. Her mother is an enabler who gives her mills and boons by the carrier bag full.

someone I worked with
told me that he had once seen a copy of the 'guidelines' for mills and boone books. It was detailed down to the page on which they must kiss

You don't like your wife much do you?
This seems to be a recurring theme in your posts.

That's a bingo!

I wouldn't trust that shit
If you don't like a fucking 50,000+ word novel then you don't finish it, unless you're being paid good dollars for reading it, which I don't think the blog-owner is. 10-1 says she doesn't really hate them. They're probably crap, but I'd rather trust a critic who is being paid.
