When I saw Independance Day at the cinema on its release.Biggest pile of shit I'd ever seen at the flicks up to that point. A load of jingoistic, derivative War of the Worlds wank.
Until I went to see the movie version of the Avengers. By Christ that was awful.

I NOES!Oh god it was butt clenchingly awful. Biggest disappointment ever. Until I went to see Batman and Robin a couple of weeks later.
Uma Thurman, you're lovely. But stay away from classic genre characters. PLEASE!
