Sadly - as someone who has stared at computer graphics all of her professional career - I can tell when it's fake...
The day I see something and think "the stunt-dude couldn't have possibily lived through that", then realised it was CGI - I shall go have an eyetest...
Bring back decent movies - Independence Day was on C4 in HD - I chose Sky 1HD.... Die Hard! No CGI and all the yippie-kie-yays you could ever want.. but in 1080i!
