Does anyone have any idea of what a company is liable for if the workplace is affecting your health? Sick building syndrome and all that. I'm not looking to sue them or anything, but I would like to be transferred to another office, much closer to my home. To achieve this I could play up on the fact that my health is suffering due to the horribly dry atmosphere and complete lack of any natural daylight. My psoraisis has indeed got a bit worse in the time I have worked here, but it would be easy to ramp the impact of this up, if I had to.
My question is, does the employer have any responsibility to me, particularly if I get a letter from my doctor stating that the working conditions could easily be the catalyst for my worsening symptoms? Or would they just tell me to fuck and call me a Bridie - flaky on the outside, and full of mince.

when I am working within walking distance of my house, saving hundreds of pounds per month in the process. Maybe if I stamp my feet really hard, they'll come round to my way of thinking.

you are owned by the company you work for, and it is in their interest that you should die on their property so that they may harvest your organs.

They might even be able to find a less cunty/lying way to do it.
Edit: I'm covered under the DDA, and it feels like people like you are the reason why I get turned down when I disclose a disability (they can't officially do it, but they find a random reason to say no despite passing everything else)
I also appear to have found an odd forum bug...

I'm not actually lying about my condition, it is getting worse, all I was saying is that I could amplify the psychological effect that this has on me. Plus, you have NO idea how fucked up the people I work for are. If I could get one over on them, and get what I wanted, I would be overjoyed. I would rather leave altogether to be honest, and I am working towards that, but in the meantime...

As someone who had to move across several counties after threats of violence by one of their previous employers... I understand the cunty. I wish you luck, and the CAB really is the best way to go.
Just er, "amplifying" set alarm bells ringing, that's all?

If you're have the scabbiness like I do you may notice that it does tend to get worse from November through to March (or thereabouts).
I treat the scabs like little organic snacks.
