I have two old fashioned sweet shopsno more than a 10 minute walk from my house.
To start with we had Mr Brown's, then Mr Simm's opened just round the corner.
I go to Mr Brown's as it is owned by a Mr Brown and is not a franchise like Mr Simm's stores are.

my great uncleused to own a sweet shop called Mr Brown's.
That was his name too, unsurprisingly.
Great thing to have in the family - plenty of free goodies whenever you visit (which was maybe once a year in our case).
