Curling
I assume it's wrong that I got faintly entranced by the Men's Curling last night. Yes, I know how gay that sounds. I'm not ashamed

I like greens bowling too.
There, I said it.
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:13, Reply)
Moi aussi
Used to play it when I were a nipper. Didn't depend on physical prowess y'see.
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:21, Reply)
It's alright, not as good as the ones where people can break legs.

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:17, Reply)
I assume you mean Ice Hockey
As opposed to DEATH CURLING
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:21, Reply)
Yeah, that and ski jumping.

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:24, Reply)
Do you watch it in the hope of a horrific death?

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:32, Reply)
Who doesn't?

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:35, Reply)
No, that would be sick. I just hope for a horrific injury.

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:35, Reply)
Fair enough
Define "horrific"
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:38, Reply)

"causing horror," 1653, from L. horrificus "terrible, dreadful," lit. "making the hair stand on end," from horrere "to bristle, to stand on end" (see horror) + -ficus, from stem of facere "to make, do" (see factitious).

Very good
I was hoping for a more specific example of what constitutes a horrifc ski jumping injury
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:42, Reply)
I tried curling once when I was in Canada

It is exceptionally difficult
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:26, Reply)
I'd watch it if it involved Caravans
On their roofs, launched by British made JCBs into a target of Germans.

Love,

JC

I'm not surprised
and

Explain further

Decide for yourselves to whom each answer applies

I just came over all Jeremy Clarkson

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:45, Reply)
You signed your last post JC
Are you Jeremy Clarkson?
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:47, Reply)
Oh god!
It is done sometimes on this site that innapropriate things are told in another person's character in an attempt to be amusing.

Jeremy Clarkson is a TV fellow who does a programme called top gear in which destruction of caravans, dislike of germans and manly machines are prominent features.

I took on his personallity, just for a moment, to make a very little joke.
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:53, Reply)
I misread your previous post
As "I came all over Jeremy Clarkson"

Which would make you either a gay, or Jeremy Clarkson
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 11:55, Reply)
I'm neither.

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 12:02, Reply)
But you came all over Jeremy Clarkson

(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 12:03, Reply)
A bit of a pun
on the phrase "came over"

You are taking the piss right?
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 12:10, Reply)
No, I'm that stupid
Or, yes, and I've had too much coffee and am therefore being deeply annoying

Apologies
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 12:15, Reply)
Don't apologise
Annoying is not an unusual trait in this place.
(, Wed 17 Feb 2010, 12:17, Reply)
*sobs*
It's taken me 31 years but i'm finally in a place I belong
