Perhaps you can try this insteadPerhaps you could plaster part of the ceiling with an adhesive that gradually releases the CDs over time, and construct something to catch the falling CDs and send them off to the CD player. Once the CD player has finished, it could use it's powerful eject-mechanism to shoot the CD back onto the ceiling. If a CD falls before the current CD finishes playing, the CD player will eject the CD in time to receive the newly-landed CD.
