I want to see
'Morgan - a Suitable case for Treatment', 'Oh, Lucky Man', and 'If ' again to see if they are anywhere as good as I remember.

I did see The Big Sleep with Robert Mitchum recently and was impressed. Directed by ever-loveable Michael Winner, it is a little cheesy in places. But then so's my knob and that's impressive too. Raymond Chandler set in England, for those that care.

the only bits from If I can remember
are the bit with the machine gun, and the bit were they pull out a big drawer in the Dean's office (or somewhere like that) and there is a person in it who sits up and has a conversation

If's not as good as you remember
Unless you're on a fuckload of drugs when you watch it

Yeah - that's the problem with a lot of the old films I liked. And some of the bands.
Just try watching Wizard of Oz (obvious example) stone cold and without the Pink Floyd soundtrack.

Oh, just me then?
