as chompy saysweather etc. can play a part. who you have attended with. whether you are on drugs and if that helped.
for example, by some criteria, massive attack was my best, because I was with some french people I didn't know, in denmark, smoking hash through a pipe in the sun, which was great, but performance and quality of musicwise, they can't match any of the times I've seen metallica for instance.
